AGBARA MAGAZINE exists to help people know more about Africa. Magazines are creative. Nevertheless, they are the common encyclopedias of the world. We wanted this magazine to exemplify the youthful, rich, and beautiful characteristics Africa possesses. We want to present Africa in a new modern way. We aspire to enlighten, inspire, and empower people through our content. 

During a college semester in 2015, our founder Tobi Ojo, struck the idea to make the platform. Since then it has quickly garnered a worldwide audience. Born in Nigeria, but raised in the United States, Tobi was able to use his combination of life experiences and skills in order to create a platform in which these dynamic stories could be told.
